What to Wear for Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and whether you are going out or not, you can still use it as a day to dress up and have fun!

I have always gravitated to red for Valentine’s Day because what color screams love more than red?

Red has become such a popular color that you can find it in any item of clothing. The best thing about the color red is that you can wear it all year round. It is a flattering color for most skin tones, so if you don’t have anything red in your closet, now is the time to stock up!

Below are some ideas to give you outfit inspiration:

Feminine & Flirty

The most traditional of outfit options for Valentine’s Day is the red dress. I love this version because the lace detailing gives the dress a romantic feel which is perfect for Valentine’s Day!

Chic & Sophisticated

What blog post from me would be complete without a blazer? I love a red blazer because it adds that fun pop of color to an otherwise classic look.

Since Valentine’s Day is on a Thursday this year, most people will have to go to work that day. Wouldn’t this blazer be a great way to incorporate the Valentine’s Day spirit into your wardrobe?

Comfy & Casual

Last but not least is the comfy and casual Valentine’s Day look. For us stay at home moms, or just the women who don’t want to get all glammed up, this is a perfect outfit choice. A little sparkle with the leggings and of course a heart sweater is how I will be celebrating Valentine’s Day this year!
