Summer Stylin'

The humidity in NY lately has been pretty brutal but the best way to handle this weather is by embracing it! We wait so long for summer and although it is easy to complain, it is much more enjoyable to throw on a bathing suit and head to the beach!

This bathing suit is one of my favorite styles this season. I love the details and it is both flattering and comfortable, which are key components when walking around in a bathing suit all day!

If you are looking for more bathing suit options, I did a post a couple of months ago on some of my favorite styles. You can read more HERE.

Going to the beach with the kids means multiple trips to the bathroom, snack bar and back and forth to the ocean. I always bring a cover-up so that when I have to get up and run around, I have something easy to throw on. This cover-up is actually a wrap dress that I thought worked well for the beach. What I love about this piece is that I could tie it like a wrap dress, tie it in the front for a cover up or just leave it open when I need to run with the kids to the bathroom. Versatile pieces are my favorite because as a mom you need to be ready for anything!

We all know how important it is to protect your head from the sun, but if I have to be honest, I don't usually wear hats because I don't love how they look on me. I have a small head so finding a hat that fits properly can be somewhat of a challenge. I was so happy to find this panama hat from Rag & Bone because it comes in different sizes which made it possible for me to finally find the right fit.
