Transitioning Summer Clothes To Fall

Just because summer has come to an end, does not mean that you have to pack away all those summer clothes just yet! Summer feels like the shortest season, so why not stretch that wardrobe a little bit farther and make sure you are getting your money's worth out of each item.

Here are some ways to make the transition to fall a smooth one!

The Blazer

The blazer can be worn with a multitude of outfits to create a chic polished look. It is a great way to stretch out the life of a tee, cami or tank. If the weather is warm enough, the blazer looks great with a tee and shorts - the basic summer outfit. If temperatures are starting to drop, just replace the shorts with a pair of jeans.

The Leather Jacket

One of my favorite pairings to transition to fall is to combine a feminine maxi dress with an edgy moto jacket.  The counter-balance is unexpected and spot on for fall.

The Cardigan

The cardigan comes in many lengths and styles, so this is a great piece to invest in as it can add dimension to your wardrobe. A cardigan pairs well with a t-shirt and jeans for an easy every day casual look.
